Clifton Neighbourhood policing team – weekly summary if our activities Executed a warrant on behalf of East Midlands Special Operations Unit where two males were arrested for drugs offences Arrested a prolific offender for a series of damages to motor vehicles committed earlier in 2026Entered an address on Greencroft and dismantled a cannabis grow consisting of 80 plants Arrested a shop lifter caught red handed on Top shops who was also wanted for 3 x Fail to appear at court warrants Another prolific shop lifter appeared in court and received a 12 week custodial sentence Assisted colleagues from Response and CID at two unrelated incidents; a stabbing on Failsworth Close and a fight with weapons on Greencroft resulting in 3 arrests Supported city centre colleagues in policing a planned Protest Worked night shifts to provide a policing presence during England's world cup game against Mexico Seized an off road scooter being ridden on a public road which will be destroyed as not road legal Spoke to residents at our regular beat surgery in Wilford Attended Highbank schools summer fair Patrols at Wilford music festival ensuring a safe space for all attendees Additional police officers will be in the area this week to reassure communities following the two serious incidents on Failsworth Close and Greencroft
